Having recently bought the dc55tc Im already looking for a new coffee maker. Tho the controls are easy to use and it brews fast the manufactures claims the thermal carafe will keep the coffee hot for hours (as there's no warming plate with this model) my experience is the coffee is hot for a max of one hour also the filter is a struggle to release which causes a big mess.
