Unit leaked all over our counter when brewing. We had to throw away. Very poorly made. Pretty to look at.

Smoked coffee!

I wouldn't recommend anyone buys this percolator. A couple of big faults: the coffee holder inside doesn't work correctly and allows coffee grounds to end up in the coffee - the last cup is awful! you'll need a separate carafe to store the coffee after percolating as the heat put out is too high on standby leaving a smoked taste, nasty!
