I have owned this machine for at least six years. It is easy to use and the espresso comes out always perfect. The coffee capsules supplied by the Nestle Company based in Switerzland is fantastic. There is quite an assortment of espresso to chose from with new flavors occassionally produced. Since, the coffee is in a capsule you don't have to worry about spoilage and for that matter a mess when placing the coffee in the machine. The coffee is quickly made with a good velvety head. It is very consistent and very good. The steamer to make capuccino is excellent and if you know what your doing the froth always comes out perfect. It is defintely worth the money.
Use it everyday and love it

I lived in Spain for a while, and while I was there, I got used to my daily espressos. When I came back, I spent a lot of time shopping around and trying out different machines, and the Nespresso was ultimately able to give me the coffee closest to that which I had in Spain at a reasonable price. I now use this machine everyday to make between 4 and 6 espressos, and it has held up wonderfully for over a year with that solid level of use. The espresso is good (the best I've had from a home machine) when using the strongest capsules, and it does a nice job of foaming as well. I'm always able to get lots of foam from the steaming nozzle. I'm extremely pleased with the machine, and the folks at Nespresso have always been helpful with my questions on cleaning and maintenance. I recommend this highly if you want simple, good espresso.

I agree with the gripe of some of the other reviewers: relying on the capsules only takes away some of the fun of being able to try different coffees. And the ones that use Robusta are a problem. However, two of the capsules, Arpeggio and Livanto, use 100% arabica beans, and, Arpeggio especially, are truly wonderful. I have trouble now enjoying espresso anywhere in town; only a couple of extremely expensive restaurants serve Illy or something of the sort that is consistently better than my nespresso machine. Everything from Starbucks on down just doesn't seem as good. Even some traditionally great coffees like Lavazza seem mediocre by comparison. The D150 was possibly the most rewarding investment I've made, and for 200 dollars is certainly worth the cost.
