I recently bought my Senseo coffee maker and found it to be very easy to work, very easy to clean, fast, and convenient. The coffee is fastastic. I've found myself drinking more coffee since I've bought it because it really is better coffee. And because it's better, I've stop using cream in my coffee. Yes, it's that good. My favorite coffee is the mild. It's the perfect blend and according to a news article, mild coffees have the most caffine.
The reason it only made 4 stars with me instead of 5 is because it doesn't come with any cups, and while you can use regular coffee cups, I only have the taller ones and so I needed to purchase some coffee cups. But other than that I love it!

If you are a "true" coffee-snob or just a coffee-lover, this coffee machine's is definitely for you! If you've ever been to europe, and fell in love with their coffee, well this machine's once again for you! I am a flight attendant, and fly once a week to Amsterdam or Brussels for my job. I was watching television on one of my layovers, and saw the "Senseo" coffee machine on a television commercial. I immediately new i had to have it. Well, to make a shorter story of how i wound up with the Senseo ... I am half Dutch, and was at one of my aunt and uncle's homes for dinner on a layover in Holland, and had expressed to them what i had seen on the TV commercial. I asked if they were familiar with the Senseo, and they said, "Yes!". A few weeks later, I stayed with them instead of the layover hotel, and they presented me with a gift ... it was a Senseo coffee machine !!!
I brought it home back to America, and ordered a electrical transformer immediately, and in a few days i had my machine up, and running. It was just like having a cup of coffee in Europe. Truly delicious, and nothing else we have here even compares. I've had my machine 2 years now, and use it religiously. -- Now at least i know when this machine's no longer operable, i can buy the Senseo here in the States, and plug it in right from the box -- no more transformer !!! -- The coffee is stronger than American coffee, but they have mild to dark roast - even decaf is delicious ... For the best cup of coffee from your machine, use bottled or purified water if your tap water is heavily chlorinated or has a strong smell! Both the latter will completely destroy a really good cup of coffee. >>> You'll love the machine, and it's coffee !!!
Really Well Done Machine

1. NOT as good as commercial Douwe Egberts coffee (which uses a special liquid concentrate).
2. VERY good coffee with absolute consistancy.
3. EXTREMELY easy to use.
4. FANTASTICALLY quick. 120seconds to make 1st cup (or 2) and 30 seconds for each cup thereafter
5. PRETTY cool style/design
6. WICKEDLY easy to clean & keep clean.
7. FUN!
Saw these in Amsterdam last year and wanted one (it is twice the price at the airport there)! Would prefer a commercial Douwe Egberts machine but they are hard to get and expensive-even used (as you would find out if you check e-bay). The design is bomb proof. Really well thought out. The coffee has a VERY unique flavor. I've tried many cups of the mild and dark roast. Yet to try the medium roast. You can brew 1 or 2 strong or milder cups at once, depending on which of the 3 roasts and how many pods you use. Regardless, you get an extremely good tasting cup of coffee with wonderful golden crema atop every cup.
