Received one as a gift for my birthday over a year ago--have used it on road trips (indispensible when friends don't drink coffee) and in my home when regular coffee maker quit (used mine 2 or 3 times each morning for over a month until I got around to getting a new coffee maker). Surprised to read other's have had trouble with it breaking. Mine's fine after easily a hundred times being used and I'm not the gentlest on equipment. Am now buying one as a gift for a friend.
Worked great...'til it broke

This press worked great, but only for about a month. After that the press disc would not stay attached to the end of the plunger when I was pressing...
Good Concept.
Rating:
I love coffee made with the French press method, so I thought this travel press would be great. It was for 3 days. The lid's threads were stripped in 3 days.
