Very good, but not quite great.

This product makes very good coffee, and is probably the most attractive "press" style coffee maker out there. The metal surrounding the glass bottle is pretty, and is also meant to protect it against accidental breakage. It also adds to the price. However, the metal absorbs heat, so the coffee does not brew as hot as in Bodum's own 8-cup model. This diminishes the delicious flavor a bit. This is the press to get if you want looks and good flavor, but the 8-cup model is for you if you want the very best flavor. I own both, so I am confident in making this comparison.
Excellent product

The Bodum Eileen 4-cup Coffee Press is the perfect way to make just the right amount of coffee for one or two people. In regards to the other review, I don't agree that the heading is misleading. I have never seen a coffee pot or maker that listed the number of cups based on the 8 oz measuring cup. In coffee terms a cup is usually 4 or 5 ounces per 'cup'. The number of cups is really the number of regular servings not fluid ounces. And with that in mind this product is perfect for making great coffee with out brewing a full sized pot which most of sits to long to enjoy.
Mislabeled size

The 4-cup coffee press is in actuality just 2 cups. The number of ounces is not listed in the sales blurb... What we wanted was 4 cups at 8 ounces each. The 4-cup coffee press is just a bit over 16 ounces. While it says so on the lid of the box it came in, the ounce-capacity is not in the Amazon listing. ...So we returned it...
