I have owned my machine for 4 months now. Recently, the steam nozzle has been produce less and less steam. It's gotten to the point where the espresso continues to drip at a rapid pass, stealing water away from the froth. It's as if the steam nozzle cannot build up pressure because the water flows to quickly through the coffee. This didn't happen when I first bought it, I'm returing it tomorrow for a new one, I'll try again and see what happens this time. Really watch those mineral deposits. I recommend cleaning it every 4-6 weeks.

Got this coffee maker for my birthday,the first time i used it the coffee was luke warm i didn't even try the espresso yet why bother if the unit is not working properly, well lets see what the manufacture will do to replace this unit its only been a week.
Ughh, minerals

I purchased this two or three years ago to help prevent my frequent trips to starbucks. The coffee maker works great even when beign used for 2 -3 pots daily. However, after not using the espresso machine for a while, a gross and disgusting mineral build up has occurred. I definitely need to clean it, but i havent had the chance. Make sure you clean this frequently to prevent this.
to respond to a previous review, the espresso machine has always produced piping hot espresso. I can never drink the espresso within ten minutes, because it is so hot. Overall, its a great coffee maker, and good for college kids, small kitchens, and those who need a efficent coffee maker for a reasonable price.
