Spicy and zesty flavor. Goes great with desserts.
Ingredients
• Cinnamon stick
• Whole cloves
• Brown sugar or white
• Orange juice
• Grated orange rind
• Fresh hot coffee
Method
1. Place 5 inches of cinnamon stick broken up into a saucepan.
2. Add 2 teaspoons of whole cloves.
3. Pour in approximately 4 cups of freshly brewed coffee.
4. Stir in 1/2 table spoon of brown sugar.
5. Add a 3/4 cup of orange juice
6. Add 2 teaspoons of grated orange rind.
7. Mix and bring to the boil.
8. Reduce heat to lowest setting, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
9. Strain through a fine sieve directly into cups or a pot and serve.
Serves 4. Mix in cream to taste. Decorate with whipped cream.
